Long, long ago, in the depths of a golden forest, where light danced among the foliage and the sun's rays intertwined with tree branches, lived a wonderful fairy: Melina.
At her birth, Melina received a special gift: she could create magical sweets — sweets that brought joy to every heart. While other fairies played with flowers and butterflies, Melina had an unusual passion: sweets.
One day, while sitting by the stream and thinking about how to surprise her friends at the upcoming Fairy Fair, something magical happened.
The winds whispered softly in her ear:
"Stretch the dough like a silk ribbon, bake it over embers and sprinkle it with sweet powder!"
Melina followed their advice with trust and love. She kneaded the fluffiest dough in the world, stretched it into long ribbons and rolled it onto a magically heated wooden cylinder - exactly as the ancient tradition required.
The dough beautifully browned over the fire, while golden sparks floated in the air. Each twist took on the color of sunset, every centimeter became perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Finally, Melina sprinkled it with honey powder and cinnamon flower petals - magical ingredients that existed only in her secret garden.
The scent of the first Transylvanian chimney cake filled the entire forest. All creatures, small and large, gathered to taste. Whoever took a bite began to smile, and their heart filled with sweetness and light, like on a spring day.
Centuries later, when the Saitos family opened their first shop in 2009, Melina knew this was the place where her protective spirit was most needed.
Since then, she watches over every Saitos kürtőskalács, whispering secret recipes into the bakers' ears and smiling when she sees joy sparkle in the eyes of children and adults alike.
Today, when you smell the sweet aroma of a freshly made Saitos kürtőskalács, when you see the smoke rising in magical spirals, or when you feel the crispy and soft crust at the same time — you know that Melina is there, watching to ensure every bite is perfect, exactly as she learned from the whisper of the winds.
